Chapter 2
Visiting Copper & Linen
Respectful venue conduct
Copper & Linen is a physical venue with restaurant and card-lounge spaces shared by staff and guests. When visiting, please act respectfully, follow reasonable venue directions, and help maintain a welcoming environment for everyone using the space.
Please take care around shared furniture, table settings, cards, poker tables, and card-lounge equipment. Copper & Linen may respond reasonably to conduct that is disruptive, unsafe, damaging, or inappropriate for the venue and its guests.
- Speak and act considerately around other guests and staff.
- Handle shared spaces and lounge equipment with care.
- Follow reasonable directions that support comfort and safety.
Reservations and event attendance
A reservation or event listing helps Copper & Linen plan a restaurant gathering, poker evening, or other venue experience. Attendance may depend on availability, timing, venue capacity, and reasonable house requirements. When contacting us, please provide accurate relevant details so we can understand your intended visit.
Changes to plans
Scheduled offerings, event details, and venue arrangements may need to change because of operational, safety, weather, or other reasonable circumstances. Where practicable, Copper & Linen will aim to communicate material changes through appropriate channels. Please keep this possibility in mind when planning a restaurant visit, card-lounge session, or poker evening.
Chapter 3
Card-lounge participation
In person at the lounge
Physical poker evenings
Copper & Linen’s poker evenings and poker tables are part of an in-person card-lounge experience at the venue. Poker at Copper & Linen is offline and takes place physically in the shared lounge setting, alongside the restaurant’s wider hospitality atmosphere. Where chips are present, they are tabletop props used within the lounge setting. They do not change the physical, social character of the experience.
Table guidance and format instructions
For a smooth shared experience, guests joining poker evenings should follow staff guidance, table instructions, and any format-specific directions. Texas Hold’em and other poker formats are practical table activities in the physical card lounge, and clear guidance helps each table move at a comfortable pace.
- Listen for the table guidance given at the start or during a format change.
- Ask a staff member for clarification if a poker format or table direction is unclear.
Shared-space expectations
Please participate with considerate language and care for cards, tabletop props, and the people sharing the card lounge. Allow staff to manage seating, table flow, and practical arrangements so the space remains comfortable for guests. Copper & Linen may pause or end participation where conduct conflicts with reasonable venue expectations or prevents a welcoming shared poker experience.
